Already a real estate investor? Not sure if the bootcamp is for you? The Nelsons are investors that were already up to three investment properties BEFORE taking the course.
Listen below to hear what this amazing young couple with multiple properties learned from taking the real estate investing bootcamp.
Hi, I’m Chanel Nelson.
And I’m Michael Nelson, and we are new to real estate investing.
I would say our journey started about two to three years ago when we first heard John and Richelle at an event, talking about real estate, talking about how to get your finances in order. And that was our go moment. We were like, “Let’s get serious about this.” Seeing them, being young, looking like us, we thought that we could do it. And so maybe about a year ago, we did our first deal. And at this point, we’re three investments in. I feel like this course couldn’t have come at a better time. We were trying to figure out what our next move was going to be. Do we buy in whole? Do we flip? Do we lend? Do we borrow? Do we wholesale? And this course is helping us really create that foundation. And so we said, “We would know, leaving this course, what our next move would be.”
Right. And to add to that, the course also helps you formalize an actual business plan, which for us, prior to, we had just been figuring it out as we were going. And so having that resource and John and Michelle, to be able to just work with you to help establish that in a way that allows you to think about how you can scale and grow your company in the future.
Yeah. And I mean, Richelle, being the professor that she is, she was just able to take concepts that seemed very complex on the surface and just break them down and make them easy to understand and easy to take action on.
Yeah. So those nuances that come with trying to pursue this, they were able to really help navigate all of that. And so starting from the beginning of, “Is this something that I should be doing? What’s the process to get involved?” And then onto, “How do I find these investment properties? What is a good investment property? How do I manage that property?” And so they were really able to break down those different layers in a way that was really easy to understand.
Yeah. And I think the calls really just drove everything home. Being able to be on calls with people that are also going through this course, hearing the questions that they ask, the plans that they’ve had set forth. And just hearing from John and Richelle, they’re a wealth of knowledge, successes, failures, whatever questions we wanted to ask and having their input on that was just definitely beneficial. So I definitely recommend this course.
Absolutely. I mean, it’s hard to beat because I mean, they’re giving you real life experiences. And so oftentimes, that’s the best teacher. And so being able to just leverage that and leverage their experiences, and then apply that to what you’re doing certainly gives you a step in the right direction.
Yeah. Definitely looking forward to future material and continue to grow.
